Teacher

Melissa

I used to be a dive master for a Dive School in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, due to the heavy tanks that we had to carry everyday I started to have lower back pain, so I started looking for a form of exercise that would help me to decreased my everyday pain. I found Pilates in 2005 and was immediately impressed with the changes I saw to both my body and mind. Not only the pain disappeared but I felt stronger, more flexible and my overall wellbeing was greatly improved.

I was hooked by the amazing benefits of this art so I decided to start my professional education.

Unfortunately many changes occurred in my life at that time so I had to stop my Pilates studies but I have never stopped practicing. It was not until last year that I decided to finally continue my studies and I found a great Pilates Academy in Spain.

In April 2021 I completed my certification as Mat and Pilates Equipment Pilates Instructor by Pilates Evidence Academy in Spain.

I have done workshops such as Postnatal and Anatomy of the Spine with the same Academy. I have taken several workshops including myofascial release.

I am thankful for the opportunity Jael has given me in her beautiful studio and committed to work together with you on building a stronger, more confident and more resilient you.

Teaches Mondays and Tuesdays evenings and Sunday mornings.

Teacher

Juliane

Hi, I’m Juliane – and I’ve been in love with movement for as long as I can remember.

From childhood ballet and Olympic gymnastics to tennis, track and field, running, and dancing. Movement has always been a joyful part of my life. In my early twenties, I discovered Yoga and Pilates Mat work and was immediately drawn to this new way of moving, strengthening my body while staying flexible and connected to myself.

Then life got busy. Work and motherhood (I’m a proud mom of three!) shifted my daily habits. Long hours at a desk and little time for myself began to take a toll.

In my late thirties, I knew it was time for a change. I began personal training sessions and, in 2021, I started Pilates Reformer with Jael. The results were transformative—less back pain, improved posture, more strength and flexibility, and a real boost to my mental well-being.

With a deep curiosity for how the body works and a growing passion for the benefits of Pilates, I made the leap to become a certified teacher. I’m currently studying with the internationally renowned BASI Pilates Academy – and loving every moment of the journey.

I’m excited to now be part of the teaching team with Jael and Melissa, and I can’t wait to support you on your own path to physical and mental well-being.

Join me for a class on Thursday evenings – I’d love to meet you!
